Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new user gets a 7-day trial with full PRO access, managed entirely by the App Store / Play Store — no payment-method dark patterns beyond platform defaults. At trial end it converts to the monthly plan unless you cancel first.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings in the app and choose Restore Purchases. Restoration checks the same Apple ID or Google account used to buy PRO — there's no account of ours to sign into.
Does Family Sharing work?
Yes. Family Sharing (iOS) and the Play family library (Android) are enabled on every paid SKU: monthly, annual, and lifetime.
Why is remote access (SFTP/FTP/WebDAV/Dropbox) a PRO feature?
Editing itself is never paywalled — the free tier of Remotext is a complete, full-quality local editor with no length or file-count limits. PRO funds the parts of the app with real ongoing cost: protocol clients that track server ecosystems, an SSH terminal, and two native engines kept current with new OS releases.
Do you collect any analytics or usage data?
No. Remotext has zero analytics, zero accounts, and zero advertising. Crash reporting is off by default and only ever sent if you opt in — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that report contains.
